This is probably one of my all time favourite MTV. The first time I saw this MTV was about 5-6 years ago. Very meaningful and touching. I was reading this book called Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny. I am halfway through it and I feel the urge to share it with everyone. The author Adam Khoo is a Lazy Unmotivated Underachiever Transformed into a Millionaire At Age 26. Many of you might have heard of him. But those who have not, trust me. This is not some get rich quick gimmick. He has appeared in many newspapers and magazines in Singapore which goes to prove that he is a man of certain substance. It also does not mean that you will be a millionaire just by reading his books. But I find it really motivational and many of his words made sense.
For those who thinks otherwise and have a negative view towards this, you really need to read his background. Initially, I started the book with just a flip through mentality. But as I go on, I find myself learning a lot from it. Quoted from the book – “‘There are no resistant students, only inflexible teachers”. “For things to change, I must change first”. To me, this is not just a book which you read and shelf it. This is a book for you to read over and over again because there are many things which you can learn from. I was tracking back to look for what he said above, I find that a couple of important points which he mentioned I have already forgotten. Well, blame it on my bad memory. I am sure I will read it a second time after I finish it. Maybe even a third time. I call this a good reference book. How I wished I had this book during my secondary school days.
Another good book of his is I am Gifted, So Are You. Well, I have not read this book yet. But I spoke to my cousin who did well academically about Adam Khoo and they mentioned this title to me. They said that its a book very well written and they have picked up many good points and from it and put to good use throughout their education. This is also another reason why I picked up Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny. I read it like a story book and liked it. It has motivated me a lot and I hope it will help you too. This is the second time we had a BBQ at the Ao Chalong Pier and I must say it was really fun. Weather is nice and the breeze is cool. Helps to add power to the fire for cooking the food. This BBQ is organised by Tammy, Offy and other EN Afternoon Shift colleagues as like an annual get together event and also to welcome the new year. Anyone who was once part of the department was invited to the party. A couple of others like Farn, Air etc were not able to join in as they are in other province. Too bad for them na.
BBQ starts at 11.30pm till morning. “Why 11.30pm?” Because that is the time other afternoon shift colleagues finish work so that they can join us. There was a great variety of food and BBQ and not to mention whisky and wine too. Oh, we also had a freshly caught fish for BBQ. Compliments from Phii Bang. Although I felt bad for the fish but it was real sweet. We did not stay till the sun shows up though. We left just before day breaks. I am sure everyone is looking forward to the next BBQ. It sure was a great annual staff party at the Chalong Beach Resort & Spa. This hotel is newly opened and spacious located just beside the sea. This year’s staff party was more of an outdoor concept. Our company invited the DJs from 91.5FM to host the party and played games with our staff under the moonlight. Lots of prizes were given away. What made me feel good was everyone in the company from the office maid to the security guard was invited. Just like a big family.The announcement of a special bonus from our CEO for every staff brought the atmosphere to a higher level. Everyone cheered and had a great time at the party. My friends from Singapore came for a trip in Phuket and wanted to visit some nearby islands. Made a last minute booking for them to go on the day trip to Phi Phi island. They were not too impressed with the trip and it was very crowded.
The next day, they told me to try and bo0k a day trip to Similan island for them. Well, they are no divers and I always thought that Similan island was only for divers. They went for the trip and gave a 5 star rating for it. The beach is beautiful and snorkeling was nice. Saw many underwater life. All in all they went to about 5 snorkeling sites. 4 from the boat and 1 from the beach. Food was included and considered tasty.
But this is definitely more expensive than the Phi Phi day trip and the travelling distance was considerably further too. They were lamenting at how far it was. They paid 3000 baht per pax which includes round trip transfer for the hotel. But it was well worth the trip. They were saying that luckily they went for it. Next destination. Similan island………….but during low season.. Why? I guess it should be cheaper!!
For those who have been visiting my website, you would have noticed that there is not much change except for subsequent change of themes. I cant seem to make up my mind on which theme is the best I prefer. I am working on My Gallery first to ensure that I can upload a steady stream of pictures at the layout I like first because that is what I would like to see most on my website. Pictures tells a thousand words.
That’s what I do most when I go to someone’s blog. I will read a bit about the author and then start to look at pictures. Those with a nice layout on their pictures and loads fast will get me going back to their website. But my technical knowlege is so limited that I got to trial and error on many things. Please excuse me if there is any links or whatever on the website that is not working or complete. I am working hard to get all things ironed out. Cheers!
My first domain name. Hosting nowadays are cheap and they are easy to apply. I am hoping to use this website for blogging, for sharing information and to have comments from people from all walks of life to better understand what are the views of other people regarding certain issues.
My new website is up and running working now. I have exported my old blog from www.blogspot.com and imported it into my own hosting to start it with something. Still learning on how to make a good website. Any tips and tricks are welcome. Cheers!

Found its own way to lunch….. My little kitten caught a mouse from somewhere and came back to feast on it. I thought she would just play with it. It layed down and started to munch on the poor little mouse….The sound of the bones cracking went down its throat…..
“I am going somewhere else to feast on my lunch. Don’t follow me!!”
This is a new member of my family. Her name is Sasa. I actually had another name for her. But her birth certificate’s name is Sasa and I liked it too. So I did not change her name. Its a pedigree Thai Ridgeback also known as Maa Thai Lang An in Thai.
This is a Primitive Type of Hunting Dog with a ridge on its back. Greating jumping skills with a hunting nature. No more snakes and rats around your house. It is very protective of its owner and its home ground making it a very good guard dog as told by many pet shops and its breeder. . I bought it as a guard dog. Strangers……beware!!
